Apr. 7th, 2012 10:02 pm[she has to giggle when she stands at the bus stop, waiting for her company to come meet her. it's the first time in all of her visits that henry won't be meeting her. she doesn't mind it, in fact she's pretty excited. she's heard all about alex shepherd, as a friend, as a date, as henry's new steady boyfriend (and with any luck she'll come out of this encounter as impressed and pleased as she suspects).
she has off from work and had gotten off the city bus not too long ago. high heeled sandals tapping against the pavement, she went light on her makeup today, leaving the freckles over her cheeks visible. her eyes are still as bright and green as always, made brighter by the faint touch of eyeliner and not a hair's out of place. she probably looks every bit the picture henry painted for alex, dark brown hair and petite frame. there should be no mistaking her when he comes up to the stop.
hopefully he won't have swallowed his tongue in the mean time.]
